Dr. Zachary Daniels is a composer, conductor, and music professor at Oklahoma City University. He writes music for ensembles, soloists, and media that is heard in local, national, and international venues. In addition to the above, Zach also directs the Oklahoma Community Orchestra and has worked with performers from around the world including Broadway singers, Grammy artists, and several local artists. He graduated from Drury University in 2014 with a BA in music and earned an MM and DMA from the University of Oklahoma in 2016 and 2019 respectively, both in composition.
Dr. Daniels currently sits on the Music Theory faculty at Oklahoma City University where he teaches Music Theory, writes about music, and presents at conferences. Zach enjoys travelling for his music in his various roles as a composer, guest conductor, and lecturer. A Missouri native, he moved to Oklahoma for graduate school, and currently resides in Oklahoma City with his wife Ashlie, and son Oliver.
