Sunday Worship begins at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary (except on the 5th Sunday)
Worship with Trinity United Methodist Church is traditional in feel with scripture read, the Word proclaimed, hymns sung and our choir providing musical variety.
On 5th Sundays, we have Fellowship Worship which begins with a meal at 10:00 am and a service of fun activities related to scriptural stories. This worship is an informal service to give all ages the opportunity to learn from scripture in a hands-on style.
Holy Week Worship Opportunities
Palm Sunday April 13, 2025, is our time to wave palm branches remembering Jesus' entry into the city of Jerusalem.
Maundy Thursday (or Holy Thursday) April 17, 2025, is a time of remembrance of the Last Supper that Jesus shared with his disciples where he instituted the new covenant of Holy Communion. This is also the time when we remember that Jesus through his example of washing his disciples’ feet has called us all to be servants to each other and to the Gospel. Just like Jesus and the disciples shared a meal, we will share a meal and the meal of Holy Communion.
Good Friday April 18, 2024, we will have a special Good Friday worship observing Jesus’ death in a powerful service of Tenebrae, or “Darkness”. This service is based on a Twelfth-century late night/early morning service and is an extended meditation on the passion of Christ. This service will be a powerful reminder of Christ’s sacrifice.
Then on April 20th, we shout, “He is Risen!” and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ at our 10:30 am worship service. We are celebrating a mighty act of love that could only come from our true God. Through Word, song and worship, we will celebrate and join our voices with the voices of all the saints that came before us in: “He is Risen!” This Easter, let’s come together, invite family and friends, and rejoice in the resurrection spirit! Don’t miss the chance to make this Easter unforgettable.
